Travel Management System Goodwings has completed a 20 million DKK capital raise in March 2025. In a time where focus on climate-led solutions is otherwise wavering, Goodwings secures a significant investment from existing investors Arve Andresen, Anders Colding Friis, Christina Topsøe, Nicholas Hammeken and Global Cleantech Capital as well as new travel industry-savvy investors, Patrick Diemer and Lars Thuesen.
This isn’t just a financial milestone; it reflects the growing demand for climate-forward solutions in the business travel market. It recognizes the significant growth that Goodwings has achieved in 2024 and serves as a tribute to every customer who has trusted Goodwings to facilitate more responsible travel management.
Continued commitment to Climate Solutions
Goodwings set out to transform how businesses approach and manage travel. We developed a platform and system designed to give our customers greater control over their travel-related emissions, reliable data, and more options for implementing responsible travel practices, including end-to-end emissions calculations, nudging, reporting, and decarbonizing - all of this while maintaining high standards in booking experience, software, and service. Today, our core mission remains unchanged: to create the best platform in the market, making it easy, accessible, and appealing for businesses to make better travel choices.
"With my background in the travel industry, I know firsthand how vital it is to adapt to changing demands. Goodwings is not only embracing that change but leading it, with solutions that actually make a difference. I’m thrilled to be part of their journey and to help shape the future of travel.” - Lars Thuesen, former Group Chief Financial Officer of SAS and owner of Jettime.
We’ve been hard at work building our Sustainability Suite 2.0, which launched in early 2025. The updated suite offers customers the ability to set carbon budgets for their travel based on SBTI methodology, choose from a variety of emission factors, in or excluding Radiative Forcing Index and well-to-tank, set up alerts, and track and analyze a broader range of emissions data, among many other features.
In addition, we’ve introduced exciting new travel features, including train services across the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain, as well as NDC for all airlines and low-cost carriers such as EasyJet, Ryanair, Wizzair, and more. Other updates include an Events feature, a new Singapore Point of Sale, and more.
Teams around the world are now using Goodwings as their preferred Travel Management System to increase compliance, ensure 24/7 top-rated service and assistance, and take control of their emissions from travel. With new customers such as Aasted, Goodwings is grabbing a bigger piece of the cake- and servicing tens of thousands of happy business travelers globally.
The new raise, will allow us to grow a stronger global presence, while continuing our investment in building the future of sustainability features.
This latest funding round will allow us to expand and strengthen our global presence while continuing to invest in developing future sustainability features.
What's to come
At Goodwings, we have one top priority; to make it as easy as possible for companies to choose a more responsible travel management option.
This focus on ease-of-use and ease-of-choice is exactly what we must keep investing in. Our current travel sustainability suite is unique, but we continue to look into the future needs of our clients and develop a product that can help them stay ahead of the curve, prepare for regulations, and consistently reduce their emissions, enabling our clients to decouple travel emissions and revenues.
As our technology advances, this new raise will allow us to develop our new Sustainability Suite 3.0. This will include a range of ground-breaking, never-before-seen tools for businesses to further reduce and manage their travel-related carbon footprint.
We’ve already set the new standard for business travel, and we are determined to keep pushing the boundaries to shape the future of business travel, for good.
We’ll also continue to improve the user experience of Goodwings - introducing new features such as rewards programs, expanding global partnerships with other innovative companies and much more.
We are deeply grateful to our partners, not least JTB Business Travel and Spotnana, our clients, and our investors for believing in our vision and joining us on this journey. This isn’t just about Goodwings; it’s about setting a new standard for how corporate travel is done, everywhere.
