Be clear on who within the company will be responsible for approving travel requests and provide contact details of that person so that employees can get in touch directly with any questions or concerns that are not specifically covered in the travel policy. You’ll also want to set clear guidelines for how employees should book their flights, accommodation and other travel related bookings. You should have a specific section that outlines the company’s policy on expense reimbursement.
